India won the second T20 by 100 runs: Zimbabwe all out for 134
In the second Twenty20 match, Zimbabwe was beaten by 100 runs by India. Sunday at the Harare Sports Club, India won the toss and decided to bat first. Rituraj Gaikwad’s 77 runs and Abhishek Sharma’s century combined to give India a massive 234 runs. This was the highest score by any team against Zimbabwe. Earlier, in 2018, Australia had scored 229 runs.
In the reply innings, Zimbabwe was all out after scoring 134 runs. This was India’s biggest win by runs against Zimbabwe. Earlier, Team India had defeated Zimbabwe by 71 runs in the 2022 T20 World Cup in Melbourne. Among Indian bowlers, Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar took 3-3 wickets. Ravi Bishnoi got 2 wickets.
Abhishek Sharma scored a century on 47 balls, this is the first century of an Indian batsman against Zimbabwe. He hit 7 fours and 8 sixes. Abhishek made a partnership of 132 runs with Ruturaj Gaikwad for the second wicket. Rinku Singh played an inning of 48 runs on just 22 balls. Opener Wesley Madhevere from Zimbabwe scored 43 runs.
Team India leveled the score of defeat in the first T20 on Saturday and leveled the 5-match series at 1-1. On July 10, the third Twenty20 match takes place in Harare.
