Sourya Air plane crash in Nepal 18 killed, pilot injured
18 people died when the plane of Sourya Airlines crashed in Nepal on Wednesday at Tribhuwan International airport, Nepal . The Nepal Civil Aviation Authority said that 18 people died and one person was injured.
A statement issued by the Authority’s Search and Rescue Coordination Center mentions that 18 bodies were collected after the fire was brought under control.
9N-AME CRJ-7 aircraft crashed inside the airport premises while traveling from Kathmandu to Pokhara this morning. There were 19 people on the plane including crew members.
Captain Manish Shakya was on the plane. Shakya was rescued from the spot and taken to KMC Hospital in Sinamangal.
