English striker Harry Kane scored twice as league leaders Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in a dramatic Der Klassiker clash in the Bundesliga.
In a thrilling five-goal encounter, Dortmund took the lead in the 26th minute through Nico Schlotterbeck, giving the home side a 1-0 advantage at halftime.
However, Bayern dominated the second half. Kane equalized in the 54th minute with a precise finish from a pass by Serge Gnabry. The England captain then converted a penalty in the 70th minute to put Bayern 2-1 ahead, marking his fourth consecutive match with two or more goals.
Dortmund refused to back down, and Daniel Svensson scored in the 83rd minute to level the match at 2-2.
But Bayern had the final say. With just three minutes remaining, Joshua Kimmich struck the winning goal to secure a crucial 3-2 victory.
The win extends Bayernās lead at the top to 11 points with 63 points from 24 matches, while Dortmund remains second with 52 points.
